CPPA

The Carolina Prep Parent Association (CPPA) is our joint parent and staff association. All families enrolled at Carolina Prep, and all faculty and staff, are members.

The mission of our CPPA is to provide a framework for organizing and coordinating parent volunteers, projects and events that support Carolina Prep families, faculty and staff, and strengthen the community.

All parents are encouraged to be active partners in their child’s education and contribute their time and talents to school-wide and grade-level events throughout the year. There are many ways to become involved. It’s an investment that pays off for your children and for the entire Carolina Prep community!

Speaker Series

Each year at Carolina Prep, in partnership with our sister school, The Montessori School of Raleigh, we bring in expert speakers to inspire dialogue and deepen the learning of our parent community.

Past speakers have included:

• Tim Seldin, President of the Montessori Foundation and Chair of the International Montessori Council

Campus Life Chairs

Carolina Prep has up to two Campus Life Chair parents who serve the entire campus.

These parent volunteers work directly with Carolina Prep teachers and administrators to coordinate volunteer opportunities, events, and support the students.

PEP

At Carolina Prep, we believe in lifelong learning. That's why we offer a Parent Education Program (PEP) in partnership with our sister school, The Montessori School of Raleigh.

PEP is designed to provide our parents with the information and resources they need to support their student's growth and learning.

Our Parent Education Program (PEP), features a Whole Child series, offering programming relevant for parents with children of any age.

We offer multiple PEP Weeks each year.
